Service
Aftersale service anywhere in Russia or CIS countries is an important component of reliable operation of KMT products by the users.
Currently, KMT offers three types of aftersale service:
1. Guarantee period service
It covers the responsibilities taken for the guarantee period and depending on the type of product and contract signed; as a rule, the service list includes the following work:
- depreservation in the client's presence;
- installation and startup;
- testing and pre-adjustment;
- personnel training in proper operating methods;
- training of supporting service personnel;
- product (system) monitoring in operation;
- maintenance as specified;
- repair (when necessary);
- supply of spare parts;
Throughout the guarantee period, KMT will provide free field service by our personnel at our equipment's installation sites to repair and replace any failed components.
2. Postguarantee service
This is paid service, and its scope and prices are determined by the relevant contract terms. Generally, this service includes:
- product (system) monitoring in operation;
- supply of spare parts;
- repair (when necessary);
- various engineering support;
Upon expiry of the guarantee period, you may apply to us for help, and our personnel will provide paid aftersale service of products supplied by us throughout their service life.
3. Servicing of equipment by third-party manufacturers on a contractual basis
As part of this kind of service, under a contract with Russian Railroads, KMT provides servicing of BODE automatic doors and the Nevsky Express train (St. Petersburg-Moscow).
Due to the expansion of our product range, and to improve service efficiency, we are currently launching a program for setting up authorized service centers at the turnover points of essential railroads:
- Oktyabrskaya Railroad
- Northern Railroad
- Krasnoyarsk Railroad
- Sverdlovsk Railroad
Such service centers will provide guarantee and postguarantee service of KMT products.
Currently, type service contracts and regulations are being developed, and required quantities of spares and service center capacities are being analyzed.
